A proud Mississippi Delta native, Kirt Beasley is deeply rooted in her community and fueled by a passion for creating meaningful change. Together with her husband of 19 years, Kenneth Feagins, Kirt has built a family that inspires her every day. As proud parents of two daughters and grandparents, Kirt and Kenneth cherish time spent with their grandchildren, who are currently captivated by the fascinating world of reptiles.

Kirt’s vision for giving back to the world begins with empowering young people, particularly those in 3rd grade through middle school. While she is passionate about seeing all youth succeed, she holds a special dedication to helping minority children thrive—whether through education, technical training, or entrepreneurship. Growing up in Mississippi during the 1970s, she experienced firsthand the disparities faced by marginalized communities. Those formative experiences sparked a lifelong determination to help prevent these children from becoming entangled in the justice system.

After retiring from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, where she witnessed far too many young adults from underrepresented backgrounds incarcerated, Kirt has committed to being a part of the solution. She actively seeks partnerships with schools to inspire and uplift students, working to ensure a brighter future for generations to come.

For Kirt, giving back is deeply personal. She stands on the shoulders of those who fought tirelessly for opportunities she now enjoys and is dedicated to paying it forward. Whether it’s working with youth or engaging with senior communities—offering a helping hand, running errands, or simply listening—Kirt is committed to making a difference.

Her compassion also extends to addressing homelessness. Kirt believes in immediate, tangible acts of kindness, such as providing meals, clothing, and personal care items. Her mission is to leave everyone she meets better than she finds them, spreading hope and dignity wherever she goes.

At this point in her life, Kirt is focused on building a legacy of impact. She reflects on the question: What difference have I made in this world?
